These two injectables smooth lines on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes by relaxing the muscle activity underlying wrinkles for up to 4 months of rejuvenation.
Juvéderm® is a large family of hyaluronic acid based (HA) dermal fillers made of a smooth gel that replenishes volume and smooths lines and wrinkles for a younger-looking, refreshed appearance. Each dermal filler is formulated to rejuvenate specific areas of the face for varying lengths of time.
Juvéderm® XC corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds) for up to a year.
Juvéderm® Ultra XC enhances the lips, smooths vertical lip lines, and rejuvenates other areas around the mouth for 6 to 12 months.
Vollure™ is similar to Juvéderm® XC but offers longer-lasting benefits for up to 18 months of smoother skin.
VOLUMA® is formulated to replenish lost volume in the cheeks for up to 2 years per treatment.
Volbella® is made with smaller, more delicate HA molecules to provide more subtle, natural-looking lip definition and enhancement for 12 to 18 months.
Belotero Balance® is a smooth, flexible HA gel. It’s claim to fame is that it completely integrates into tissue for a natural feel that maintains the normal movement of your facial expression. This filler smooths lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth, including nasolabial folds and vertical lip lines, for up to six months.
Restylane® is another HA-based dermal filler formulated to smooth lines and wrinkles around the nose, mouth and chin for up to 18 months.
Radiesse
“A Quick Fix for Better-Looking Hands,” according to NewBeauty, Radiesse is a gel made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres to provide immediate volume enhancement. Radiesse is unlike other dermal fillers because it can also stimulate your skin’s natural production of collagen over time for up to a year of rejuvenating benefits.
