At Versailles Medical Spa, we are able to accommodate your treatment appointment on the same day as your complimentary consultation. Prior to being treated, the medical provider will take before photos for your medical record and prep the face by cleansing the areas that are going to be treated for VOLUMA® injections. Although not required, if requested and to make the procedure more comfortable, the medical provider may also use a topical anesthetic to numb the area to make your dermal filler treatment experience more pleasant. The medical provider will mark your face to ensure accuracy before administering the VOLUMA® injection with a fine-gauge needle to minimize bruising and discomfort. Along with bruising as a possible after-effect, you may experience some swelling and redness, but these symptoms subside on their own typically within 3-5 days.

For most patients, the benefits of VOLUMA® are visible right away and may last up to two years. Common side effects from VOLUMA® dermal filler injection are slight redness, irritation, bruising or swelling of the treated area. These cases are almost always very minor.
