Patients usually have very minimal downtime with an IPL photofacial. Their skin will appear a little swollen and pink. During your consultation, the medical provider will provide detailed instructions about post-treatment care. Over several days, the sun damage and other irregularities under the skin will rise to the surface and then start to flake away. It’s important to use Versailles Medical Spa’s clinically proven 50+ SPF protection and not to pick at the flaking skin. While you will have visible results after the first treatment, your complexion will look even better after several IPL sessions. We recommend scheduling approximately 3-6 sessions about once a month at Versailles Medical Spa.

PROCEDURE TECHNIQUE?

An IPL photofacial is done at Versailles Medical Spa’s office, and it takes about 20-30 minutes depending on the area that is being treated. To start the IPL facial, the medical provider will prep the skin and cleanse if necessary, before covering your eyes with protective laser shields.
